After all the messing around trying to decide what to call the Alfa 147 replacement, Alfa Romeo finally decided it was to be the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Having made that decision – and released a few photos of the Giulietta last month – Alfa has decided to ramp up the interest in their new baby ahead of the debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. So we get a teaser promo video.

Porsche has announced UK prices for its Panamera, and that all PDK-equipped cars will come with stop-start technology - the ‘entry-level’ S starts at £72,266, rising to £95,298 for the range-topping Panamera Turbo. By comparison, a Cayenne GTS is £54,085 and a Cayenne Turbo is £75,137
For a start there’s the 493bhp twin-turbo 4.8-litre V8 mated to Porsche’s four-wheel drive system and seven-speed double-clutch PDK gearbox. Then there are also 19-inch wheels, adaptive air suspension, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, metallic paint, heated front and rear seats and a multi-functional steering wheel.
Volkswagen is closer to entering the mini-SUV market after revealing a new Taigun concept in New Dehli, India on Wednesday. The second version of the concept gets a new trunk lid and a spare tire that is mounted on the outside of the tailgate. The compact Taigun measures only 151.9 inches long, 68 inches wide and 61.8 inches tall.
